How it works

What it does

What the engine covers

  • Sections, containers & columns: today's flexbox layout and older pre-container sites
  • Every native Elementor widget: all 27, including Sidebar and its widget areas
  • Every major Elementor Pro widget: Slides, Forms, Price Tables, Countdown & more
  • Full WooCommerce: shop, product, cart, checkout, thank-you & account
  • ACF: every standard field type, as a native Bricks dynamic tag
  • Popups: content, display targeting & the 3 most common open triggers
  • Forms: fields, layout & styling (reconnect submit actions in Bricks)
  • Dynamic data: post, author, site & user tags, beyond ACF
  • Hover effects: colours, borders, shadows and transforms, as editable Bricks hover states
  • Animation: all 36 Elementor entrance animations, as native Bricks interactions
  • Global styles: colors, fonts & breakpoints, as Bricks variables
  • SEO: same URLs, and your Yoast / Rank Math / SEOPress titles, meta & schema untouched

Switching page builders usually means rebuilding every page by hand. That is why so many teams are still on Elementor long after they’d rather be on Bricks.

The Bricks Migration Engine takes that wall down. It reads your whole Elementor project, shows you exactly what will carry over before anything changes, and rebuilds the site in Bricks as a real, editable build. Your original stays exactly where it is, one click from rollback.

Why choose Bricks Migration Engine?

Safe by design

Conversion writes the Bricks version alongside your Elementor data, and the original is never modified. Preview the result privately before you commit, then roll back any page, or the whole site, with one click.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Bricks Migration Engine available now?

Yes. The free tier scans any site, shows you the coverage report, and converts 3 pages at a time so you can judge the result on your own site before buying. A license opens the whole project.

What is the Bricks Migration Engine?

It's a tool that migrates an Elementor site to Bricks Builder, covering pages, reusable templates, headers and footers, popups, and global styles. It maps each Elementor widget to its Bricks equivalent, and up to 90% of a site converts automatically. Whatever can't map cleanly goes on a review list. It shows you what carries over before you commit, and never touches your original Elementor site.

Will it change or break my existing Elementor site?

No. The engine reads your Elementor content and creates new Bricks pages and templates alongside it. Your Elementor site keeps working exactly as it did, and you can roll back any migration at any step. It's fully non-destructive.

How much of my site will actually convert automatically?

Up to about 90%, and how close a given site gets depends on two things: how complex the build is, and how heavily it leans on third-party widget packs like Essential Addons, JetElements or PowerPack. A clean site built mostly with native Elementor widgets lands near the top of that range. A site with heavy add-on use, or unusual custom work, lands lower, and we would rather you knew that up front. That is why the scan is free and unlimited. It reads your specific site and reports the percentage that converts automatically before you spend anything, so you never have to take an average on trust.

What happens to the part that doesn't convert automatically?

It goes on a review list. Nothing is approximated and nothing is dropped quietly. Each item names the widget, how many instances, and why, with a link to open that page in Bricks, so the work is a finite list in front of you instead of a problem you meet page by page later. Third-party add-on widgets are the most common entries. A proprietary slider from an add-on pack has no Bricks equivalent to map onto, and any tool claiming to convert it is guessing at a design decision on your behalf.

Does it work on complex sites?

It handles the things that usually make a site complex. Theme Builder templates, popups, display conditions, WooCommerce, ACF and dynamic data all convert. But complexity does lower the share that converts without review, and a large site with a lot of custom or add-on work will have a longer review list than a straightforward marketing site. Scan first; the report is the honest answer for your project, and it costs nothing.

Which page builders does it support?

It migrates from Elementor (free and Pro) to Bricks Builder. Support for additional source builders may follow after launch.

Does it work with older Elementor sites that don't use flexbox containers?

Yes. Sites built with Elementor's classic Section and Column layout, from before flexbox containers existed, are converted rather than skipped. Column widths, gutters, content width and section heights all carry across, and the output is native Bricks, so an old page ends up on a modern flexbox layout even though the source never used one. Classic layouts are the newest part of the engine, so every page built that way is flagged once in your review list with a note to look it over before publishing. Scan first: the report tells you what your own site actually contains, and the free tier converts 3 pages at a time, so you can judge an old page inside Bricks before buying anything.

Isn't there already a free way to convert an Elementor site to Bricks?

There are free tools that convert one section of Elementor JSON at a time, and AI agent skills that convert page content well but stop short of Theme Builder templates, popups, WooCommerce and dynamic data. Both are genuinely useful within those limits, and both are also annual subscriptions for the tool itself, on top of a separate AI agent subscription needed to run them at all. The Bricks Migration Engine differs on both counts. It works across the whole site in one run, including the template layer, and it is a one-time purchase with nothing else required to run it. The other alternative is a manual rebuild, which agencies quote from a few hundred dollars for a small site to well into five figures for a large one.

Is the free trial 3 pages total, or can I try more than 3 over time?

It's 3 pages at a time, not 3 pages ever. Roll one back and that slot is free for a different page, so you can work through as much of a site as you want to sample before buying, just not all at once. Your header and footer don't count against the three, and neither does the single template that frames a page you've converted. Convert a blog post and the post template it renders through converts free alongside it. That way what you preview is always the complete page, never a fragment inside an Elementor frame. Standalone templates (popups, archives, 404s, search) use a slot just like a page does. The one boundary the trial doesn't lift is WooCommerce (shop, product, cart, checkout and account pages, and product templates), which need a license even within the free 3, though they still show up in your scan and coverage report. Everything else scans, previews and converts exactly like a paid license.

How many sites can I use it on?

Each license covers a set number of websites for life: Solo one, Studio five, Agency unlimited. A website's staging, development and live copies count as one, and if you migrate on staging and push the database live, the license travels with it. Migrating a different website uses one of your sites, which is what the Studio and Agency tiers are for. Need an activation moved after a rebuild? Email support@builtforbricks.com and we will move it.

Is it a subscription?

No. The Bricks Migration Engine is a one-time purchase with lifetime updates. You pay once, own it, and get every future update at no extra cost. Migrations you run are permanent, and there's nothing to renew.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, a 14-day money-back guarantee. If it isn't working out, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right or refund you in full.

Crocoblock & Jet plugin migration

In progress

JetEngine listings, dynamic content and filters carry across, kept as Jet where your license already covers Bricks, and rebuilt as native Bricks elements where it doesn't.

Deep-link into flagged elements

Open a review item straight to the exact element inside the Bricks builder, not just the page it's on. How much of this is possible depends on what Bricks' own builder exposes.

Template-kit mapping

Map imported Elementor template kits onto matching Bricks templates in one pass.

Migration report

Export a before-and-after report of everything that moved and everything left to review, ideal for client hand-offs.
